World Refugee`s Day
On June 21, 2023, for World Refugee Day, an exhibition
of works by Ukrainian children, participants of the VI International Art
Festival МАЛЮЙ.UA
(PAINT.UA), organized by the
Association for the Development of International Relations ADRUM, a promotion
and production company, was presented in the Palace of King Nicholas, the city
of Bar, Montenegro STUDIORAR with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and
Information Policy of Ukraine and the Kyiv City Government.
Talented children from Montenegro and other countries
also performed at the event. The action was organized by the Civic Alliance in
cooperation with the Municipality of Bar as part of the World Refugee Day as
part of a joint program with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner
for Refugees (UNHCR) in Montenegro. The celebration of the World Refugee Day
was attended by Radovan Popovych, Director General of the Administration for
Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners of the Ministry of Internal
Affairs, Jean Yves Bouchardy, Head of the UNHCR Office, Damir Rashketich, Vice
President of Bar Municipality and Milan Radovych, Program Director of the Civil
Alliance. as well as representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine in Montenegro,
the municipality of Bar, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other local
institutions and non-governmental organizations that deal with the system of
international and temporary protection.
The exhibition of Ukrainian children was presented by Tetiana Kolesnichenko, president of the Association for the Development of International Relations ADRUM. The guests of the event, among whom there were many children, were impressed by the works of young artists from Ukraine, who for more than a year have been living under bombardment, with power and water cuts, experiencing constant stress, losing family and friends, but despite everything continue to learn, create and unwaveringly believe in Victory and a joyful, peaceful future.
