years ago Russia began the war against Ukraine with the invasion and occupation
of Crimea. This is the tenth stage of the art marathon "GENERATIONS OF
WAR", which began in December 2023 and is planned to be held until the end
of the war. In total, over 900 artists from 18 countries took part in the
project, but the exhibition dedicated to the dates of Ukraine's heroic
resistance to the aggressor presents the works of Ukrainians. The artworks
reflect the beauty and strength of spirit of the Ukrainian people fighting for
their freedom. The exhibition will last until March 31. Artists of all ages
participate in the project - from children to elderly people who are currently
experiencing the war. The art marathon is art therapy for Ukrainians, it
collects artistic evidence of the war and shows it to the world, calling for
support for Ukraine in its difficult struggle against the invader. Over the 14
months of the project, more than 30 exhibitions were presented in 12 countries
around the world: Ukraine, the USA, Malaysia, Poland, Greece, Japan, Bulgaria,
Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Argentina.
The art marathon is
part of the large-scale International Art Festival PAINT.UA.WAR, the only cultural project in Ukraine that has
