24. ДО І ПІСЛЯ - Exhibition opening
The grand opening of the international art project "24. BEFORE AND AFTER" took place on August 10 in the Museum-workshop of I.P. Kavaleridze (Kyiv, Andriivskyi Uzviz, 21). Art project presents the works of young artists 5 - 25 years old from 10 countries of the world and combines two exhibitions - an exposition of the winners of the pre-war IV International Art Festival MAЛЮЙ.UA (DRAW.UA) and participants of the special wartime project MAЛЮЙ.UA.WAR.
The project is organized by the Association for the Development of International Relations ADRUM and STUDIORAR under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Kyiv City State Administration.
The opening was attended by the organizers, partners, and guests - the president of the Association for the Development of International Relations ADRUM Tetiana Kolesnichenko, art director Oleksandr Udra, director of the museum-workshop I.P. Kavaleridze Oleksandr Yunin, First Deputy of the Department of Culture of the Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Shulyak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Ukraine Dragitsa Ponorac, First Secretary of the Department of Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Ruslana Linnik and others. Project participants received gifts from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine provided by the Center for the Protection of the Information Space of Ukraine.
In total, 20 countries from 6 continents are involved in the project. The exhibition vividly reflects the difference between peace and war: bright works of peacetime emphasize the pain and horror of war.
