About the Project

A large-scale project the MАЛЮЙ.UA.WAR (PAINT.UA.WAR) International Art Festival is underway while Russia's insidious war against Ukraine is going on. The Festival is organized by the Association for the Development of International Relations ADRUM, the promotion and production company STUDIORAR with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Kyiv City Council authorities The project began in the first days of the full-scale invasion and is planned to be held until the end of the war. The Festival acts as art therapy for Ukrainians, and also collects art evidence of the war and shows them to the world. Nowadays, during Russia's insidious aggression against Ukraine, international cohesion and cooperation in all spheres, including cultural ones, is especially important. The participants of the festival are active fighters on the cultural front - their works act as an effective tool of cultural diplomacy, spreading the truth about the war through art, influencing the formation of public opinion in various countries regarding the war in Ukraine and the problems related to it, which spread throughout the world. During the war, the works of the festival participants were presented in over 60 projects in 17 countries: in Ukraine, the USA, Switzerland, the Vatican, Montenegro, Albania, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, China, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Serbia, Poland, Pakistan, Greece, Argentina.
