VIII MALIUY.UA (PAINT.UA)

The fifth stage of the art marathon "GENERATIONS OF WAR" in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation of Kyiv near the Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian People (Volodymyrskyi Descent, 2), from July 3 to August 20, 2024, includes 99 artworks by artists from Ukraine, USA, Greece, Italy, Romania and North Macedonia. The exhibition consists of works by artists of different ages - from children to the elderly - winners of the VIII International Art Festival PAINT.UA.WAR. The project is part of the large-scale International Art Festival PAINT.UA.WAR, organized by the Association for the Development of International Relations ADRUM, promotion and production by the STUDIORAR company with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Kyiv city government. The festival began in the first days of the full-scale invasion and is planned to be held until the end of the war. Nowadays, during the insidious aggression of Russia against Ukraine, international solidarity and interaction in all spheres, including cultural ones, are especially important. Holding an exhibition of works by Winners from different countries in the heart of Kyiv demonstrates to the world that even in difficult times of war, the capital of Ukraine is a center of international culture. After the exhibition in Kyiv, the artworks of the art marathon travel the world, exhibitions have already been held in Poland, Greece, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan. The organization of projects abroad is constantly ongoing, because the works of the art marathon "GENERATIONS OF WAR" act as an effective tool of cultural diplomacy, spreading the truth about the war through art, influencing the formation of public opinion in different countries regarding the war in Ukraine and the problems associated with it, which spread throughout the world.
